Bleximo raises $1.5mm to bring quantum computing to real-world applications
Renata and Dmitry Budko were early-stage angel investors.
Bleximo Corp. is building first-generation quantum computing systems, which address hard-to-solve problems in various industries. These systems utilize superconducting qubits and quantum application-specific integrated circuit technology. The company is based in Berkeley, California and was founded in 2017. Bleximo is an affiliate company in Cyclotron Road, a program that supports entrepreneurial scientists and engineers aiming to grow their innovations into useful products. Cyclotron Road’s entrepreneurial science fellowship provides funding, intensive business and technical mentorship, and access to world-class research facilities at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and UC Berkeley.
In this early round, Bleximo is pleased to announce a new partnership with Q-CTRL, world leaders in quantum control. This relationship will provide access to customized quantum control solutions which reduce hardware error without the need to build a dedicated in-house team. We view this as an exciting way for Bleximo to accelerate our development timelines and focus on bringing quantum accelerators to real-life applications.
